Kabin is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) with a Master's in Civil Engineering and twelve years of practice. Much of that work has been in Transportation Infrastructure Business, where he saw how much faster a project moves when the engineering, the data, and the schedule all work together.
He started KAPPS to bring that same momentum to the tools engineers reach for every day. As Chief of Engineering, Business and Innovation, he sets the technical direction for KAPPS and leads the company as it grows. Most of the tools on the platform began as something he had already worked through by hand, which is why they hold up when a practicing engineer looks closely.
Kabin is a driven engineer with vision and a problem solver at heart. He believes AI should make good engineering faster and easier to reach without taking the judgment out of it. That belief shapes how the company builds. The tools are careful where it matters, honest about what they can and cannot do, and built to earn the trust of the engineers, contractors or any stakeholders.
